well Bianca..I'm in the Dominican Republic...have been here since Nov 27th. Bought everything I needed for keto. Long story short....fridge sucks..no microwave..blah blah. Meat and cheese went bad within days and I developed a real aversion to protein as a result. in fact developed a horrible nausea to any food. didn't eat for days...was getting weak and sick... So I just ate whatever I could tolerate...which was bread, jam, cheese and some soup. I still can't tolerate meat and won't bother cooking anymore as it doesn't keep. So carbs went off the map for about 3 weeks. Now I don't record food. I eat moderate carbs...and yes some junk...IN MODERATION. No sweets though...I don't have a sweet tooth. Don't know where this journey will end but I'm still losing weight albeit very slowly. Do to my strange eating habits and lifestyle I've accidentally incorporated intermittent fasting...11 am to 7 pm...and I still do bullet coffee with coconut oil and tumeric for sever arthritis. I'm 62 so i think my body was telling me to eat what it needed which at my age will require carbs. Best of luck to you in your journey Bianca.
