Note: I had done very well in the last two days diet-wise, except that glass of beer of the day before yesterday. No beer yesterday of course. And there you have it: this morning it showed that I had lost 1 kg! (that's two pounds!) from yesterday. That's NOT one day's loss but two days' loss, minus the beer and the water that the alcool had retained!! Maybe some of you already knew this but now I am convinced: alchool drastically retains water, which is lost the following day or two. The biggest problem with this process is the psychological dissapointment when you worked hard with your diet the previous day but this does not show in your morning's weigh because of the water.
