Step by step. Slowly but surely. The mistake I made when I came "back" to Fat Secret in May was to put a deadline or due date on my weight loss. I will speak for myself & no one else when I admit that I was wrong to think that I would lose 3 pounds a week. That goal is unrealistic. I took OVER a year to put the weight on. I should plan to take that much time to lose the weight. Hopefully that explanation makes sense & does not DISCOURAGE you. There is no quick trick. Just don't beat yourself up. Even maintaining the SAME weight without a loss is good. Also - there are OTHER ways to measure success: loose clothing, increase in energy level, improvements in mood, & a clear conscience all become measurements of progress.
