All-around bad day. My shoe started falling apart mid-run, giving me a blister on the back of my ankle; I had a slew of bad customer encounters at work; got an unwelcome phone call at work (on the store phone, not my cell); got bitched at for even taking the call (I got them to hang up as soon as I could, but what was I supposed to do? Just hang up on them?)...
Kinda influenced my food choices today. I tried to be healthy, but the onion rings told me that they knew how hard my day was and that they would be a comforting friend. And that I should invite their friend corn dog, he's a good listener, too.
I know I've got to stop the emotional eating. I'm going to limit this to a one time (or once in a very long while) thing. And at least I didn't binge. This day happens a few months ago, I'd probably clear out their tray of onion rings. I only had a handful, today.

Feeling good! Kept my calories down and walked for about half my shift.
Those Lean Cafe meals at Wal-Mart are so good. The paninis are my favorite, but the sesame chicken meal I tried today was pretty good, too. Could've used more sesame sauce, though. I think the pasta soaked up most of it...
Hopefully getting up early to fit in a run before work. Keep it goin'!

Well, I've been away too long (a few days, what?). I was just way too tired from starting my new job, plus I was without internet for a while.
So! Back at it! Today was weigh-in day. I wasn't expecting much since I had only lost a couple pounds last week. Hopped on the scale, this morning--BAM! Seven more pounds gone! I am now at 230 lbs! I just feel so good and proud of myself, right now! I can't stop using exlcamation points! Haha!
I haven't been able to run as much the last week (due to soreness from the new job), but I think work has been helping my legs out. I went out running today and it felt better than I thought it was going to!
I decided to run while my brothers were at baseball practice. The road that wraps around the fields is part of the actual route of the 5k I'm eyeing as my goal. So, I thought it would be nice to get a little familiar with part of the route. It was okay. A bit more terrain than the bike path, which was a nice difference. There was one hill that gave me a bit of an issue going up, but I think the race takes me down the hill, so I'm not too worried about it.
Happy about the weight loss, but I am still nowhere near the ultimate goal. Keeping it going tomorrow!
