Well, this is what happens when you are sick and totally disregard counting points. My first gain since starting back. I let myself go last week because of nerves, not feeling well and overall just being busy and not caring. But...I have started tracking again and hope that it will not carry over to more than just this weigh in. So now that I am back on track I have carried my goal over to this week. I did not use any of my weekly points last night and don't plan to use any today. I have to be strict this week to get back into that downhill slide. I don't mind minor hiccups like this, but I will not allow them to be frequent occurances on this journey. I don't regret what I did last week because I got all of my cravings out of the way, but I definitely am not proud of it either. This week will be better, I will use less points and I will work out. Plain and simple...back on track and feeling so much better! :)

Me + Vodka= not good. Went with vodka and diet coke because it is probably one of the lowest point drinks a person can have and ended up having six...not that I can't handle my alcohol, but I do NOT want to be at work right now. I don't usually get headaches the day after drinking, but apparently Vodka gives me headaches. I usually stick with Crown (Washington Apples...yum!) or Jager, but wanted a more point friendly drink last night. There is just something about it that my body disagrees with. So my punishment is sitting here at work, feeling miserable craving greasy food from Jack in the Box which SC conveniently chooses not to have as a restaurant. Can't wait for lunch. Maybe I will go get BBQ to eat and will feel a little better. On the plus side, we might finally be getting the snow everyone else has been getting. Can't wait! I just want it for one day and then it can pass on through. The part that sucks is it won't get here until after dark...but at least we will get it!

I am a little nervous about the weigh in tonight. Had a really rough week with points because of a trip out of town and Super Bowl. Not too horrible and went to the gym last night to make up the extra points I had used on top of my weekly "extras" we are allowed. Got in a great 45 minutes on the bike. Wanted to go an hour, but was feeling a muscle start to hurt really bad in my leg and didn't want to pull anything so I stopped. I think next time I go I will kick the level down to a nine instead of 10. When I was going every day I would ride the bike at 11 or 12 in the past, so I really need to get back into shape! Hopefully I will be able to fulfill the goal I have set for the past two weeks. Use less weekly points, hit the gym (or just workout) twice this week for at least thirty minutes! This one has been quite challenging over the past couple of weeks and I won't set a new one until I am able to accomplish this one. I will be happy with a .6 loss this week. That will put me at my ten pounds lost. Considerably less than I have lost the past three weigh ins, but with how many points I used...I can only hope for something at all. But as said in a previous journal, I am down a pant size in my slacks for work and they are not uncomfortable at all...so even if the scale gives me little to nothing, I have still accomplished something!
