I'm completely disgusted. I did great for 2 days!!!! And then the weekend came... I didn't record the food I ate, because I didn't have anything other than a bagel, some Ritz Crackers, and then we hit a diner at night... That was the killer. It was chicken and shrimp scampi... Stupid house searching!!! We were caught up in NY for quite some time, CJ was NOT very happy in his car seat for so long...

Anyways, we'll be food shopping this week and I plan on purchasing some healthy snack choices, some good breakfast choices, and I'm goign to be adding in 2 new WW recipes for dinner every week. Everything else will just be portion control and veggies (mainly a spring green mix salad and raw vegetables).



2 Reasons Why I Am Doing This:

Reason 3: I would like to take control of my health and prove to myself and others that I have the will power to follow through on this.

Reasons 4: I want my husband to look to at me the same way he did when we first met. (I know I'll never be back to the same weight I was in high school, thank you Varsity Basketball and Soccer, but I would like to be a healthier weight and fit into outfits that my hubby will look at me and say "Wow, you look great!")

Today was my first day "dieting". I joined a week trial Weight Watchers online and then unsubscribed, only to get my allowance points! I'm allowed 29 Points: 24 for my "normal self" and an additional 5 since I'm nursing.

I certainly need to add water into my everyday doings, and that is something I plan on starting tomorrow. I will start with at least 4 pint glasses of water per day, and than add an additional drink glass of water in a couple days. I will limit myself to one diet soda a day for one week (no calories or points), and after one week, I will cut out soda completely and drink water and one non-water drink a day. I want to get up to drinking 10 glasses of water a day. I also learned that a good rule of thumb to drinking enouch water is to drink 1/2 of your body weight in water a day. For example, if you weigh 100lbs, you should be drinking 50oz of water in a day. If you weigh 500lbs, you should be drinking 250oz a day. My goal is to eventually drink 100oz of water a day!! Water = peeing. Peeing = toxins out of the body. Toxins out of the body = Feeling better overall!!!

It's about time that I change my lifestyle so I can feel better in general. I hate not fitting nicely into clothes.

I also have to add in some exercise. I think that will be my week 2 challenge.... I might set a life style changing challenge each week......
