Just finished my second week in uni! I love it so much I love my course and I go out a lot with lovely friends, It's been really fun and I'm actually healthier than I have ever been. I've been going on longs walks and eating a lot of fruits and veg. I don't have weighing scales with me but I am sure I have lost a lot of fat to the point where people are telling me that I am leaner which is promising. Uni has really helped me develop who i am on the inside and helped me meet a lot of people who are also vegan. I went out today with a friend and we ate so much vegan sushi with sweet potato fries we are both dead. I'm back at home now with a cup of lemon pukka tea c(_)

I thought I was going to stay at 59kg but I do feel my body becoming leaner. I ran 3.6km yesterday through my whole town (and through a graveyard) as I feel like running has suddenly become an addiction.

Invited my best friend for a healthy picnic and we had so much fun! We also watched the Saw movies whilst catching up. Very happy with how great I am feeling on a vegan diet.

So happy I made the choice to go HCLF! I was confused as to why I was the same weight for around 2 months but I realised I am still growing taller and gaining a lot of arm + abdominal + leg muscle so that probably explains the plateau. Even so, weight doesn't really account for your health. As for my diet, I am eating more than ever have even in my whole life and yet I can see the stomach fat literally melt off (I'm eating so many carbs btw). My skin is twice as clear as prior to starting this diet and I have so much more energy. We have intense exams at the moment so I cannot exercise as much as I would. Some family members were concerned about my diet so I did a blood test (perfect results woo + vitamin B12 & iron levels are better than average) just to prove that they shouldn't worry. It's amazing to be on a diet that I can maintain for the rest of my life ^-^

This has been a tough month to get through. I have followed my vegan diet for three months so far despite conflict with my family who no matter how much I have tried to explain what vegan is, they try and sneak animal products into the food I eat. I love my family but sometimes they do not understand. There is a stomach bug spreading around school which my friend and I have got which means I have been ill for a long amount of time (too weak to do much exercise). My parents blamed it on fruits and vegetables so they have cleared the house of everything but junk food: butter breads, chocolate and candy. I am too ill to leave the house and buy vegan food / fruits so I guess this is going to be difficult. I respect that they are doing this because they care for me but at the moment I am not sure I can recover eating these processed foods especially since my body is not used to it anyway. I hope everyone else is having a great month! ^-^
