Am still scratching my head because the day I started working out I stopped losing. It irritates me to think that I'd weigh less if I didn't exercise because honestly I know in the long run what I'm doing is going to be very beneficial.
First week at a new gym went really well. SO GLAD to be back in cycle and Body Pump classes. Hoping to see some results by July 4 weekend. Oddly enough I was not sore. I've never started Body Pump and been able to walk the next day. Maybe all the protein and the low carb intake effects that? Or maybe the anti-inflamitory nature of Atkins leads to less severe muscle tears? I have no idea but I think it's kind of strange. One week of walking in Nike Fit shoes couldn't have prepared me for 5 minute stints of squats and lunges.
