Not sure it was actually the flu. Still not feeling all there. Doctor did some labs and got abnormal numbers:
Smudge Cells: 1+
Sodium level: 131 mmol/L
Chloride level: 94 mmol/L
Calcium level: 8.5 mmol/L
Alkaline Phosphatase: 396 U/L
ALT (SGPT): 265 U/L
AST (SGOT: 165 U/L
Bilirubin Total Level: 1.7 mg/dL
Protein, Urine: 1+
Also did an abdominal ultrasound:
PANCREAS: There is an ill-defined hypoechoic area near the head of
the pancreas measuring 2.9 x 2.6 x 3.7 cm, without definite internal
vascularity.
SPLEEN: Enlarged, measuring up to 14.7 cm in maximal dimension
(previously 10.8 cm), with multiple new echogenic masses, the largest
of which measures 1.6 x 1.4 x 1.5 cm.
But at least the fever let up!
Not sure if this is actually the best way to go about weight loss.
