Well I hated to up the number in my weight but I finally replaced my 20 year old scale with a newer, updated digital scale and gained 8 pounds instantly. I knew my old scale was off but that was depressing. I already lost one pound so I will just have to remember I didn't really gain the weight, it was always there, I just didn't know it!

steady weight

A little depressing to have to increase my weight on my "weigh in". I have been working out with a trainer for a month and a half and have been continuing with my regular exercise and still managed to gain 4 pounds! I've been told "it's muscle, it weighs more than fat" but that doesn't help. I guess if I felt better or thinner it wouldn't be so bad but I pretty much look and feel the same. Oh well, I'll just take it from here and try to have a good week of eating healthy. I start my new position at my job today. I am no longer a temporary employee so am very happy about that so that's a great Christmas gift to me!!!
