So since I have begun this journey in changing my way of eating and lifestyle, I have noticed increases the weight I have been pumping. Usually (as of late), I had been using 20 and 25lb. dumbbells for my bicep curls, but today I was able to complete my sets using 30 and 40lb. dumbbells. Also, should press weights increase, bench press and flys increased, and my tricep extensions I kept the same amount of weight but it was fairly easy so I will have to up the weight. I never thought that I would be using 40lb dumbbells on a bicep curl this soon, but for some reason, I've already gotten to that point. I only have up to 50lb dumbbells so I am going to have to get some more weight at the rate I'm going.

Overall, this diet is going smooth and I am two days away from my first weekly weigh-in since starting the Atkins diet. I'm hoping I get some good results, but if not, I understand that based on my weight lifting increases I could very well be gaining muscle as well.
