Hi FS Friends. Two weeks away, with eating out, and I have gained 1.5kg. 🫢😥 So hard to lose, so easy to gain back. No gym 🏋️♀️ either for past 2 weeks but did go walking each day.🚶♀️ Oh well, it is what it is, and not unexpected given what I've been eating. Time to get back on track. I have four weeks to go before my holiday in sunny Queensland 🏖️ Hoping I will drop the weight just as quickly as I regained it. Feeling inspired by @lizpackard09 & @flossyflu's recent healthy meal pics and will join @Aitch11 in having lots of soups🍲 So glad to have all the FSFam here for inspiration & support 💜
Tried my best to keep it healthy most days, but must confess I ate far too many wedges with sweet chilli & sour cream (ordered by hubby) on this occasion. They were Yummo 😋

It's time for my Week 8 review and I have lost a total of 9kg since starting this journey.😀 The weight loss has started to slow, with only 0.4kg lost this week. My weight has fluctuated up and down all week 🎢. This is probably due to my carbs being up again: I've been eating too much dark chocolate. 🍫 Back to basics this week, low-carb and plenty of salad & veg. I'm not buying any more choc for a while either. If I don't buy it, I cant eat it! 🙃 I'm determined to keep going.🏃♀️

Hi FSFam, Week 7 completed and true to form, I have binged................as a chocoholic, the usual suspects were involved. I always manage to last 7/8 weeks before crashing out of my diet.☹️ This time, after mindlessly eating choc biscuits and chocolate, I did not get the usual 'hit' but instead felt a little ill. 🤒 I also ate some bread, butter and vegemite: my body wanted carbs! When I mentioned last week I'd be focusing on carbs, I didn't have this in mind! 😀 It is only through sheer grit and determination that I got 'back on the horse', maintained my exercise throughout, and managed to lose some weight (albeit only 0.6kg). Not too bad, considering I gained a kg after the binge. 🫤
I have some new motivation for the next 6 weeks: a two week holiday in Queensland.🌴☀️ Hopefully I will be confident enough to 'dare to bare' my body in a swimsuit 🩱by then. Even if it's only in the hotel pool/spa 🏖️

Week 6 completed and I have reached my second 4kg mini-goal with a total of 8kg lost. I'm treating myself to a pair of Lorna Jane thermal leggings as a reward (ready for winter walks) 🥶 Even better they are on sale atm 😀
On the diet front, I made the mistake of eating a bread roll earlier in the week and found myself craving carbs for the rest of the week! 🫢 Having focused on fats for the past two weeks, I will therefore be looking at carbs this week. At the moment I am focusing on getting my carbs from fruit, veg, legumes, nuts & dairy, and excluding rice, bread & pasta. I'll probably reintroduce small amounts of grains after Week 12, starting with low GI wholegrain bread & rice/quinoa. Depends how the weight loss goes.
I'm averaging about 20g fibre a day, so probably need a supplement. 🤗
