I'm Lauren and I have an addiction to food. I was in my best friends wedding this weekend and looking at the pictures make me sick to my stomach. I'm a trainwreck. If I don't do something about my body soon, it's going to be out of control. I have to remember that I have the power to change myself. I'm already suffering the effects of being obease and it's scary. I shouldn't be 27 and have high blood pressure, but I do. I'm one of the crazy ones who really likes to exercise. The thing is, I'm ashamed. :( I'm embarassed to exercise in front of my husband and embarassed to get out and jog through the neighborhood.

My addiction to food is unhealthy. I plan to make healthier choices for me and my family starting now. My weakness is FAST FOOD. I love to eat it, but feel so miserable afterwards. My goal is NO MORE FAST FOOD and NO MORE COKES.

I'm going to start out slow and hopefully increase my activity level more and more.

I'm ready for a change and here I am. I want to see my kids grow up and be able to run and play with them. I want to be able to put on any old pair of jeans and be comfortable. I want to not have to worry about the heart disease and diabetes and high blood pressure that I'm going to be worrying about very soon if I don't get my body back in shape.

I'm going to make a change and I'm starting NOW. Not after Christmas, then New Years, then later and later. I'm starting NOW.

Today has been a horrible eating day for me already. A co-worker brought cheesecake (my weakness) and we ordered from a deli. Instead of turkey with no mayo I went all out with the club sandwich. At least I had coke zero and baked lays.. Ha

I'm so ready to get started. I just want to be healthy!!
