Ug! All I can say is that I can only image the reason I didn't gain any weight is because I am not eating! But when I do, it hasn't been all bad.
I did get out and walk the hills on Sunday and that felt good. Gym yesterday. Its raining like crazy and was super cold last week.
Trying to get back into the saddle and will step up my food journal.

Hoomygawd. I went to Thanksgiving down at Hoopers parent's house and tried to stay focused. I also went to see Harry Potter 7 and I took celery and carrot sticks. Okay, I also took a couple of my home-made white chocolate and dried cranberry cookies, too. But I didn't buy the huge popcorn with butter ( a first) and I only had a couple hand-fulls of my friends. Plus, I am on my period and who knows how that plays with water weight.
COnsidering I haven't entered my food in a while and didn't get in that last day of exercise last week, I will take this weeks weigh in.
I took it on Friday and get this: I was 169!! So progress!
Am vowing to get in a work out tomorrow morning. Even with this week off, I am going to stay on track.

Twice to the gym this week already! WHoooooo! I am stuck between eating at regular intervals and eating when I am hungry, which seem to be two separate things. I don't typically eat breakfast before I work out, I drink coffee and water and then go. Maybe something after, but not usually.
I've read different things about it, so I am confused. I eat later in the evening, so maybe my body isn't needing the fuel first thing.
I did eat my fav last night: popcorn. I had three pieces of Halloween candy with me but as I opened the Almond Joy I thought: Aren't you tired of being out of shape and feeling bad about yourself? Think of all the hard work you put in last week at the gym, you just gonna throw all that out for three little candy bars?
And I threw them away. And it felt good! I made a healthy choice for me!
I've looked at Kelly Osbornes weight loss and saw that she lost 50 pounds and she said that she commits to 30 minutes of walking a day and if she feels like more, (weight lifting or whatnot) then she does it.
Now, that has been my mantra. 30 minutes is pretty fast I can do 30 minutes. So while I am a bit 'over' how often Kelly connects being thin to being happy, I do admire her for getting healthier. And yes, when I am able to feel proud about myself in a bikini, I will probably cry too.
Keep being mindful. Drink lots of tea and water. Eat more protein. Keep walking!
