Had a great jam this afternoon. We started playing "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" then continued playing Beatles stuff for the rest of the afternoon. I have a book of Beatles scores (everything they ever wrote), and it was a case of opening the book at random and playing the song that was there.
I took the Telecaster that I custom built for my self. This is it here.
I am a bit of an amateur luthier, and ended up bringing back his Gibson SG which requires a total set up. My wife's face fell when she saw it as I already have 12 in the back room! She thought I'd bought another!!!

Didn't go for my morning walk. It is grey and overcast, and besides, I have a job interview at 09:00 and didn't want to get sweaty after my morning shower. I will get a good walk later this morning, when hopefully the weather will have brightened up a bit.
This afternoon I am going along to visit my brother, he lives about 9 miles along the coast, for a jam session. I don't mean making it or eating it. We are one time musicians who like to get together now and again for a bit of music. I like both kinds. Rock and Roll.
Here is a photograph of me, back in the day (1978), at a band rehearsal. Wish I had the figure and the hair now (I'd happily forgo the beard).
Yesterday's diet went well and with plenty steps and flights climbed my Trendweight chart shows my weight is actually started to fall once again.
Wish me luck for my day. I'll let you know how I get on.

Been for my first walk of the day. It was nice but nippy. As is typical with this part of the Scottish East coast, after a couple of sunny days we woke to a low lying mist. It will burn off as the sun strength increases, then return this evening. Tomorrow it will clear later and return earlier and the next day it will remain all day. The funny thing is, go a couple of miles inland and it will be sunny and clear.
Yesterday I managed over 40 flights of stairs and 7000+ steps, but my calories in exceeded calories out by about 500!
But hey, ho. Today's another day!!

I need help.
I am hungry all the time. My weight is hanging around the 200 lb mark but because of my eating, due to hunger, it isn't budging.
This is my weight chart since mid May. (The data points attached by Green lines are my daily weigh ins, the Red line is my Trend and the Yellow line my target weight line - set on 7th May.)
As you can see I had a steady weight loss after leaving hospital then things went to pieces. I am quite active now, which maybe why I am hungry all the time. I am maybe building my muscle back up now I am once again active.
I am also concerned about the amount of Carbs I am consuming. I do not intend going LCHF though I do need to cut my daily Carbs to below 30%. I am just ravenously hungry all the time, something I never was in the 15 months before my surgery.
I am open to any idea, theory or science. I just need help.

Another glorious morning and my early morning walk completed. The parked cars are all covered with a heavy dew this morning, a sure sign that the autumnal weather is not far away. The only thing I am not keen on, walking so early in the day, is the low sun in my face. I try to avoid it as much as possible but the streets here seem to run East/West, so which ever way you walk you get it in your eyes at some stage. And wearing glasses doesn't help.
Yesterday was a good day for exercise with 47 flights and 10500 steps, but a bad day for Carbs. I will try better today. But I will be having Low GI bread, toasted, with poached duck eggs, for lunch, so that won't help. I'd better not have cereal for breakfast. Have a great day, everyone, and my UK buddies, enjoy this weather while it lasts!
