Monday. Early morning workout with water arobics!! It seemed to be so much more intense today but then its Monday and didn't keep up with exercise over the weekend. Managed to get thru the whole hour and then enjoyed going in the hot tub and then shower before coming home.
Did a little work at home and then out to do some shopping - need a couple of things to add to my diet food. I've been working on bring up my fat and protein count and carbs down. Still haven't found the Atkins book locally so will go online and order thru Amazon.
Marylouise mentioned sugar alcohol and I've questioned her on that as I'm unsue just what it is. Never had anyone mention that before. Anxious to hear what she says.
Bedtime, another day etc etc.

Its past midnight so this just might show up as Monday journal.
Another quiet day at home with my family. Warm and sunny and nice weather to go in the pool. Spent about an hour in he pool, did a little arobics but mostly just floated around and enjoyed. Ours is an above ground round pool so can't really do much swimming plus I'm not much of a swimmer. Use to do a lot of swimming while we lived in New Jersey and spent summers at the shore but those days are gone forever.
I am pleased with my weight loss so far, a total of 5lbs. I'm still on calorie count and hope to start on Atkins next week some time once I get the book and all the right food etc.
A nice long email from my buddy Marylouise with lots of helpful ideas to help me along the way to better dieting. She is on Atkins and doing so well I know she is going to be a big help to me.
Just added almonds as one of my snack foods today. I love almonds and checked them out today and found they worked good toward the fat count, so will start enjoying them more. Also like to put the slivered almonds in salad.

Saturday - another pound lost, its slow going but I'll settle for slow as long as its steady. Thinking of changing to Atkins but have to get the book before I go into it.
Quiet day - home alone - Sue and John went to Daytona Flea Mkt but I decided to stay home and relax. Had planned on cleaning up my scrapbooking stuff but ended up reading and watching movie on TV.
Went in pool when Sue can home and had s swim with a little exercise thrown in. Nice day, no rain, but still many wildfires around the area and lots of smoky smells.

Early morning workout - water arobics - !! an hour at the pool and really fast paced today. We have a couple of different instructors during the week and some are better than others but its always great.
Went shopping after and finally found a new swim suit. Went to Marshals in Mandarin. Lots of smoke around again today, going over the bridge it was really heavy. No fires in our area but smoke comes from all around us.
