Morning all! I am so excited for tomorrow, can't wait to weigh in. I don't care what the scale says, my jeans aren't tight today - the way they were on Saturday. I went to the gym 2 times this week so far, and I'm definitely going tonight too.
Friday is going to be a little tricky. It won't be the normal routine, since I took the day off. My mother and I are heading out to do some Christmas shopping and probably get lunch too. I'll be ok, since I'm prepared and I know if I can't find anything on the menu that looks safe (I'm so done with salads) I'll get an omelette with some veggies and sausage. Hope all of you are having a great day!

I'm pretty happy with myself today. I did what I set out to do yesterday, and stayed on track completely. I went to the gym last night for the first time in almost 3 weeks. I did 45 minutes on the elyptical machine and I thought I was going to fall over out of breath, but I pushed through it. And I felt great when it was over!! I had to weigh myself this morning, since I was so mad at myself when I saw that 180.0 looking at me yesterday. Down to 178.2! I still have a way to go, but that's ok. My official weigh-in is Thursday and last Thursday I weighed-in at 177.0. I'm hoping that I show a loss or at least get back down to that same number. We'll see. I drank tons of water yesterday too. I didn't think about it until yesterday, but I have definitely been skimpping out on the water. I think it makes a huge difference to drink at least the 64 oz of water every day, and I have not been drinking more than 32 oz per day if I'm lucky. I'm going to be more aware of how many bottles I'm drinking each day and add that to my food tracker in the snacks area, where I list my veggies. Then I'll know I'm getting at least the minimum of these important foods. Have a great day, everyone!!

Well, the weekend started out great. Saturday night I had to go to a surprise birthday party and they had tons of food there - that looked great, and that I couldn't eat (baked ziti, chicken parmesan (breaded), chickn francese (floured), sandwiches, cupcakes, cake... I did good! I had the sausage and peppers with a huge salad and ranch dressing. I felt satisfied and went home with no problems.
Sunday, at home, I fell off the wagon! I'm so mad at myself. If I was going to cheat, I wish I would have had some of the good food at the party instead of the junk I ate last night. I had 2 resse's peanut butter cups, 2/3 cups of party mix, and french fries. Why did I do that??!! I have no idea. All that I can say is that I feel terrible today. I feel bloated, fat, and disgusting. I'm going to weigh myself to assess the damage, then stop beating myself up and get back on the low carb wagon. Wish me luck!!

Well, I weighed in today. Down .2 Not what I hoped for, but at least I'm down something! I have not been following 100%, so I didn't expect much. I'll try harder this week. Hope all of you are having a great low carb day!!

Feeling good today. The hubby finally got back to work. He has been out of work for almost a year, working here and there. Finding a decent job in NJ (anywhere, for that matter) isn't an easy task today. It's only been since Monday, but I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. Especially with three kids and the holidays coming up, I was getting very very anxious. The old me would have devoured a carton of ice cream every night due to stress. The new me worked out extra hard at the gym, the last few months! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day. Happy Hump Day!!
