I'm so happy the weekend is almost here. I'm not nearly as worried about my eating as I was last weekend. Although, that could be a bad thing, lol.
The strangest thing happened early this morning. I got up to use the bathroom and I just happened to noticed that my wedding band was not on my finger. My first thought was it must have slipped off my finger while I was asleep. I know that can't be because it isn't that loose. It takes a little effort to pull it off; however, I do have a habit of pulling it on and off to gage if I'm losing weight, retaining water and etc. I wonder if I was doing that in my sleeep? ...weird...

147 this morning. I'm very please especially since I was worried about going out to eat. It's 12:30pm and I think my eating window will be 3 - 8pm. I have a client at 3pm so I'll have to wait until afterwards to have my break - fast. Heck, I may as well wait until 5pm. That way I can be on the time that is originally suggested by the book =)
I know I can do it!
This is great! I don't miss counting calories. I will still record my foods, but no more measuring, weighing and etc. I'm still selecting healthy choices, but I'm not going to beat myself up when I decide to have ice cream =D
My energy level is high. I only caught a few times where I got a little dizzy, but nothing major. It lasted only for a few seconds. I think tonight I will have salmon. I'm still not sure what I'll fix w/it.

Today marks 1 week since starting the Fast 5. I'm 147.4...not bad.
Starting weight 152lbs
Current weight 147.4 lbs
Weight Loss 4.6 lbs
Okay according to the book, I shouldn't expect too much more weight loss for a couple of weeks due to my body adapting to this way of eating. I'm gathering for another week or 2. So I need to hang in there =) and remember that no change on the scale doesn't mean FAILURE, lol
Tonight is my GNO. Truthfully, I'm not worried. I'm going to move my window to accommodate the outing...4pm - 9pm. That should cover it. I plan to break - fast at home with some veggies and then have my meal with them.
I'm really excited. I just got back home from my gno. I did very well. Here's the outline...
1. got home from work around 6:15pm.
2. had my break-fast @6:30pm I ate veggies and hummus. It was so good.
3. Met my friends at a Mexican restaurant.
4. I had a diet coke and a taco grilled chicken salad. I ate only half. I know I could have eaten the whole thing, but I'm starting to understand what limbic hunger =)truly is, YIPPEEEE.
5. Now what truly amazed me was while I was waiting for my food, I didn't even feel tempted to snack on the corn chips and salsa. It really helped that I ate my veggies before I left the house.
6. Came home around 8:45pm. Had one block of dark chocolate. Was tempted to have another because I saw on the package that 1 serving is 3 blocks. I started justifying another piece because I hadn't had a full serving, LOL
don't worry. I didn't do it. My eating window officially ends 11:30pm, but I don't think I'll eat anything else =)
I know I originally planned to do another 24 hour fast tomorrow, but seeing I did that today...I will do the normal 19 hr. This is getting easier and easier. I totally love this. I get it. It is hard to explain, but I totally get it =)
Tomorrow I will break - fast at 3pm - 8pm. Also I weighed myself this afternoon and I was 147. I'm not going to record it, but it was nice to see it. Hopefully it will be there in the morning.

I feel really good this morning. I just downloaded another e-book "The IF Live Revolution." Reads pretty much the same as "Fast 5." It's very encouraging to read both books. I want to do more researching before I start discussing this with my clients...especially in my field.
I believe I will fast till 3pm today making my window 3 - 8pm. I know not my original plan, but that original plan was drafted so I could hide it from David, but now that he knows...I have more flexibility =)
I have a "GNO" Wednesday. We are all to meet at a Mexican restaurant. I don't think I'm too worried. I'll just make sure my window will fit that time period. I may even add another 24hr-er to be safe. We shall see.
My day went well. I noticed I felt cold most of the day. I'm thinking that is part of the fasting =)
I broke my fast 2pm and ended it 5:30. My weight is still 147.8. I'm not worried. Apparently it will take my body a few weeks to adjust to fast which is fine. I'm very happy with IF.
