Well yesterday I started the Stair's Challenge. I only have 12 stairs but after completing day two I'm certain that is enough. My stairs are steep but I managed them with no problem. It really did get my heart pumping which inspired me to take a jog/run for about 20 minutes. Not so much jogging as brisk walking but there was still some jogging in there :) It felt great! I'm drinking my water but they are only 16.9 oz so I'll have to drink a little extra to meet the mini-challenge. I'm looking forward to a short work week due to the holiday so guess it's time to start winding down.

Happy Thursday!!!
I feel great today. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that this is my last day of work until next Tuesday :) I got home early last night so that really made a difference. Hubby & I took the Harley for a quick ride & enjoyed a beautiful late summer sunset. It was a very relaxing evening, finally!!!
I didn't do too terribly bad yesterday. I ate reasonably well considering my work schedule. I know the spaghetti was the best thing but it was better than something from a burger joint. At least I knew all the ingredients in there.
I've started checking in to the gym's in our area & I'm hopeful I can get hubby to join me. I joined my first challenge, the Stairs challenge, so that should give me a little motivation to get myself moving more. There are four flights of stairs on one side at the office and two on the other. That would get me moving at lunch or throughout the day should I get sleepy. And I do have stairs at home so I'm pretty much covered either place.

Yes, I'm still alive and kickin'. It has been a while since I've had a chance to log in & do anything so I thought I would update. I'm not loosing or gaining so I'm alright with that.
Since starting this new work schedule I have found it very difficult to get dinner done much less prepare something fresh & healthy. I'm not eating out all the time but I could definitely use a boost in the "good for me" department.
This is only my third week so I'm hopeful it will get easier with time. I did buy some groceries and have really used those slow cookers this last week.
I can feel myself loosing ground through. I still can't seem to get myself motivated. I look at my "fat" pictures weekly but that doesn't seem to make a difference. I gotta get it together & stop talking about it. I know, I know.
