Losing 0.4 kg a Week
11 October 2021
I'm climbing back onto the FS wagon. I fell off a couple of months ago when school started. Time to make my health a priority because no one else is going to do it for me! I'm at school 12 hours a day but have decided weekends I'm only going to put in 4 hours total. Life is uncertain and I don't want my tombstone to read she worked all the time and she missed out on all the fun family stuff. I've also realized there will be another teacher in that classroom before I'd even be laid to rest. I'm replaceable at work, not at home.

Going to try to get back to taking care of myself. Teaching these days is constant stress from all the things you can't control. I'm a type A personality so I try to do above and beyond to compensate for the what ifs in my profession right now. Now worried we'll end up back online so I'm going to spend the weekend setting up 30 online classes just in case in addition to preparing and planning for in person learning. I'm stress eating like crazy and it's starting to catch up to me. Plan for today is clean the house, to give me a sense of accomplishment and peace, take a walk for self care and then sit in front of the computer until I'm exhausted and can't function. 😆 In my 20's this would have sounded like a punishment, not daily goals.
