Hey FS. Just want to say 'thanks' for everyone's inspiring and encouraging posts over time. I'm not a poster myself, but this morning I felt like I needed to give back just a bit as thanks for all of you that do post.
I used FS back in 2012 to drop 60 pounds from 297 to 237. Last November, I found myself back up to 287 and decided to get back to FS and do something about it. Starting on Nov 16, 2020, in the middle of the pandemic lockdown, I logged back in to FS and got started with a pretty simple plan...less than 100g Carbs/day + Move Every Day. I hit my first major goal of 220# in March and this morning I hit my second major goal of 200# when I weighed in at 199.4. This is the first time I've weighed under 200 pounds in 30 years.
These last 20 pounds came off much slower than the first 65, but they came off nonetheless. My next major goal is 180# with the endgame plan of settling in to managing my weight between 170-180, unless I add some more muscle and bump that up a bit.
Keep it up everyone! And THANKS again for all of your posts that kept proving to me that change was possible!
