I bumped my calories up to 1800. I feel much better about that. I haven't gone over and I've actually been eating about 1500ish calories. What a mental game this whole thing is! My running is doing well. I've been sticking to the treadmill though. It's much easier on my knees. I tried running outside and it was a lot harder. I know if I want to be in a 5k I need to keep trying to jog outside as well.
I make sure to walk my dogs everyday whether I go to the gym or not.
I just feel much better all around. I've lost a few pounds, nothing noticable by looking at me, but I feel much better. I'm not so tired and sick feeling all the time.

It's time to really get down and dirty. I've been doing a lot better with eating and excerise now than I have in the past, but it's still not enough for me to lose any kind of weight. I have been eating a lot more calories than I record. Not a ton over, but enough to effect my weight loss. Plus I want to get to the gym at least 5 days a week (Mon-Fri). I want to get on the scale and see what an actually weeks worth of good days will do. :)

I'm still keeping up with the half mile run (more like slow jog lol) on the treadmill. I think tonight when I walk my dog I'll try running some. I'd love to run a 5k, that has always been one of my goals. I'll have to see what is going to be going on in my area. I'm kind of lucky that where I live there is always those huge sponsored 5ks (like the color run, mud run ect...). Hopefully this fall there will be some. I think it will take me a few months to get to running a 5k.

I've made a resolution to love my body. I'm showing it love by exercising and eating right. I'm also just going to be happy with how it is now. Over time by doing the right stuff the weight will come off.
The thing is my daughter who's 6 years old asked me if she looked fat in this sweater she was wearing. It broke my heart. Obviously she hears me ask my husband that all the time. I don't want to push her into having any body issues. So I've been making small changes like we're eating veggies because they make our body healthy and keep us from getting sick. I still let the kids have dessert because I don't want then to think food is a bad thing. I'll just teach them moderation.
