Grr at me. I fell off the wagon quite a bit with the diet today. Even though I chose low calorie snacks... I chose a few too many for what I'm trying to achieve. Tomorrow will be a better day, I hope. What can I say? I was craving chocolate and stressed out.
Exercise wise I was much more on the ball. Went for a mile walk with Mom today (and walking here is no picnic since we live in the mountains with lots of uphill places), and I did cardio with my guys at the home. I had my belt on ninety percent of the day, and believe me that thing needs at least two trips through the washer to get rid of the sweat. :D
I really need to buy a scale so I can see if all of this is doing anything. Otherwise, I have to wait until I'm at the main office for work to sneak back to the one in the nurse's office. I hate doing that.

Grrr, argh. I managed to mess up my diet calendar and reset my diet by mistake. Dang it dang it dang it. I don't want to start a new account, though, so I'll just have to live with it.
Anyway, today the diet went better than yesterday. Still had my Chocolate Cheerios (whole grain should always taste that good) and milk for breakfast, a light snack of Wyler's Fruit Snacks around lunchtime, and a sandwich for dinner.
Exercise is something I took a break on today because I had to go to training for the group home most of the day. I'll get back on that tomorrow.

Diet day two has progressed fairly well. Ate light for breakfast initially, but had a bit of a setback at the yarn shop when I went next door to get a bite to eat. Wound up with a muffin, which was not the best choice. Luckily, I worked it all off and then some resetting the store. (I never knew displays and freezers could be so heavy.) Lunch and dinner were both tuna, 'cause I was just in a tuna mood.
So far, the waist trimmer belt has been a good investment. I don't know if it's trimming anything from the waist per se, but it's helping my back tremendously. I guess the compression is keeping things in line, so that was definitely a good purchase.
I'm taking the Mega-T per dierections, and so far no adverse effects. Don't know if it's helping, but it's not hurting so I'll keep on it for now.

So... I started the whole diet and exercise thing in earnest today. I've really been watching myself on what I'm eating, and I did the cardio thing with my guys at the group home tonight. (And no wonder one of them has gone down a shirt size-that DVD is intense!) Off to a good start, I think.
I also stopped by Wal-Mart (the great, necessary evil) on the way home and picked up a waist trimmer belt (even if it doesn't help the waistline, it does ease my back pain quite a bit, so a good $5 spent) and some of that Mega-T Green Tea stuff. I'm usually not big on the idea of weight loss from a pill, but this stuff is herbal and if it doesn't work I'm only out four bucks.
Planning on walking with Mom in the morning, and I'm going to try the belt out while I'm at it. Here's hoping it helps!
My new Jillian Michaels DVD should be here on Wednesday. I figure that working out with it, walking with Mom, and joining the guys when they're doing their Hip-Hop Abs thing should be exercise enough for now until I get into a bit better shape. I may ramp things up a bit then.

Just good old fashioned cutting back on food intake, and literally exercising my rear off. It worked before, it can work again!
