My weight has been at a plateau for the last few weeks. I started 16/8 intermittent fasting and increased my protein intake. It seems to be helping. I’m excited to be so close to my goal!

Losing 1.6 kg a Week

Last week I was 3.5 lbs away from my goal. I have cut out sweets and alcohol for the month of June, assuming that would be enough to get me there, no problem. I’ve been averaging a deficit of 700+calories a day, so mathematically I should have a loss for the week. This morning I stepped on the scale to find that I’ve gained 1.5 lbs! I know bodies fluctuate, but there’s no physical reason for it, not that point in my cycle or anything. Super disheartening.
