Ok, so I was reading all these journals telling about all those Easter success stories, about not caving in to all that delicious food..... well my journal won't read that and that's OK - really - I had made a conscious decision to have that Easter meal to be my free day. It felt good to be in control. Having made that decision took the shame, blame, the feeling of failure out of the picture. I felt totally at ease and enjoyed All the foods I had prepared. I had no seconds and all my portions were appropriate. I was in control! What a wonderful freeing experience.
Now its Monday and I'm back to my healthy eating habits. Whatever I have gained from the holiday will soon enough be gone - and it's really a looong time until Thanksgiving LOL.

Spring has come to Kansas City. It was warm and windy today and walking in the park was a bit to hot for my taste. I hate getting hot. It was 79. One of my goals was to add another lap to my routine and I succeeded in doing so. But I was huffing and puffing afterward. It is really hard to carry an extra 100+ pounds around with you. I'm not complaining just wondering how it had gotten so bad?
