Today is my first day of the 12 week challenge. Luckily, I weighed in as 139 lbs. I only ate under 1400 calories today. Hopefully, I can continue eating this healthy for the rest of year. Power on!

I keep to a conclusion that the main reason to lose weight is to look good in young professional casual and career wear for my entry job. I am graduating soon and getting worried with the weight that I gained through my years of study. I've decided to make sure I do this for my future. I need to lose 15 lbs. in order to buy new clothing for my new job and look and feel great. I don't want to worry my weight and looks all the time. I have other things to worry about. Any advice to give me?

Today marks the day I officially remove refined sugars from my diet. Not exactly officially as I have to go to special events to eat and socialize. However, I officially am removing it in order to limit tooth decay, keep clean teeth, lose a little weight, feel better, and be able to fit in my jeans comfortably.
I realize how difficult it will be to only drink black coffee and green tea. We'll see where this leads me to.
Will keep this updated daily.

It's been a difficult year for me. While being at school full time, I've been tutoring students, working my part-time job, and helping my brother with his new and upcoming business.
No wonder I have barely time to jot down what I eat and when I exercise and tracking my weight and such. However, I made some goals and plan to stick with them until the end of the year. By then, I will re-evaluate those goals and re-work them to be more challenging and eventful.
Here are the goals that I have made up which are listed:
1. Do 100 situps each day and 20 pushups before I hit the shower each morning.
2. Increase housework time and do 30 minutes of housework each day.
3. Join a running club and run regularly twice a week.
4. Eat at designated times and only eat before 10pm no later.
5. Drink lots of fluids disincluding caffeinated drinks. Drink 8-10 glasses of water each day.
Hopefully these goals will have a significant impact on my body and I will be in shape for any highly physical activities, and adventure trips.
