It was a busy weekend. Managed to get the living room painted, and put back together. I also was able to stay on track with my eating plan. Things are moving along so well right now I am scared that this won't last. I was stagnant for about four weeks and now its moving along. I am excited!!!

Oh it's a good day. The weight is finally moving. I was about to give up but after reading some posts I decided that I was going to keep going. Besides I feel fabulous since I quit eating sugar and bread and all things white. My mind is clear, I don't have cravings, and I am so much better in control of what goes in my mouth. So today I am loving my life!!!!

I am new here, and I am following the Atkins diet. The first couple of weeks I lost about 6 pounds. Since then not much. My original start weight was 179. Today I am 170. I have some other health issues so I take prednisone quiet a bit, I believe this attributes to my weight issue.
However, I am committed to staying the course and losing this weight, I feel great on this program, and the cravings for sugar have disappeared completely. I never thought in a million years that I could be free of that.
Last night I bought a cake for my sister's birthday, and it didn't bother me at all that I didn't have any. I count that as success.
