Finally lost a bit of weight after 2.5 weeks of static.
I'll take it as my diet has been on point

I've been dieting for about 2.5 weeks now...man do i feel great, healthy, energized sharp...not the slightest bit of sluggishness. I wish I could bottle this feeling up so I can make sure not to forget it if I ever fumble back to my old crappy ways as I've been up and down for years....
This time around I'm focused on short term gains.... everyday is improvement vs... always looking at long term goal and missing the big picture.

Mini goal accomplished!! Took a week vacation with the family to the vineyard and didn't break my diet once. Fried clams lobster rolls, beer nothing. My tip... exercise daily add late night bike rides by the beach so I'm not trolling for food. But the best tip is Grill lean meats daily and buy daily so you are prepared!

Although I haven't lost any weight for a few days, my pants and clothing feel looser and a buddy mentioned I looked thinner, so I'll take that as a Win.
In the past all that mattered was the number on the dial, and I would be depressed if it didn't budge.
For me it's changing the way I think and my perspective.
Vacation starts tomorrow for 1 week. I have my whole strategy lined up to not throw all my hard work away!!
-Get out of the house for a walk before breakfast is served to the kids (Eggs, sausage, bagels etc). Grab a cup of coffee and a piece of fruit on the way home.
-Lots of Water
-Buy individual size snacks for the kids so a whole package is never laying opened or available
- Afternoon beach, have lots of fruit handy
- Fire up the grill each night but only cook what is immediately consumed no extras for the fridge.
- (the hardest) Dinner's Out stick to fish & Chicken, no alcohol
