I'm trying to find my motivation. I no longer have a partner and my dog had to be returned. So what is my motivation? I know it has to come from within me, but it's still difficult to find a good reason to stay on track. I hope to be getting a new dog soon, so maybe that will help me stay on track. And I have a date this weekend, but I've had several of those, and nothing has worked out so far, which is disappointing. I don't like my job, so I can't find any motivation there.
So, what drives you? What is pushing you to get into better shape? I try to make myself fantasize about being happier and healthier without the weight, but my depression just slows me down. Some days I feel good and driven, but other days I just feel like giving in to all of my temptations, in order to feel some fleeting sense of happiness.
