What a horrible weekend i have had. From my brother being in ICU to my throwing out my back from god knows what. I am in so much pain that it truly feels like a toothache right in the middle of my spine.
If you have ever had a toothache then you will know exactly what I am talking about...the constant dull ache with the occassional sharp twinge of pain. UGH.
also, it's Nursing finals week for me for my Fundamentals class. I cannot wait for this class to be over. I am so overwhelmed with all the different medical terms that my brain doesnt know which way to go and neither do i.
Good thing about today is we got some good news from the Doctor on my brother. He's finally woken up and they removed him off of the ventilator. He's breathing on his own now and he even said his name! PROGRESS!!!!!
Hopefully tomorrow will bring better things.
I did eat carbs this past weekend. Not because i was cheating, but because I have been so broke and cant get to the grocery store to buy my food staples that I had to eat what everyone else was having. I didnt over do it though. I was measuring and weighing. I'll just revamp things as i can to compensate for it later.

Wow. 3 lbs in 2 weeks. I know that sounds like not a lot, but its alot to me and I am super proud of it.
I will take those 3 lbs any way that they come because it puts me 3 lbs closer to my goal weight. Pretty flipping cool if you ask me.
One thing I learned over this last two weeks is that it's ok if things go wrong with your meal plan. It's not the end of the world when you fall, just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep on going.
I have begun to be the "lil chef" for a group of women in my Nursing class too. They loved the way my healthy lunches were looking everyday that they asked me to cook for them too and I now get paid for it too!! Nothing is for free in this world unfortunately. lol

I am suppose to weigh in today, but I am choosing not too.
I had a weird week and can't say that I was a bad girl, except for yesterday. We had to pick up fast food for dinner and I thought I was doing good by ordering the "Cantina chicken bowl" from taco bell...mainly cause the picture made it look like a glorified chicken salad. Only to get it home to realize that nope...it was a black beans/rice dish with romaile and chicken on top. I could've made myself something else, but I was in a hurry because I had to rush out in 15 min to go to my son's open house...so I ate it.
It was good, but then I logged my food and it had almost 3 days worth of carbs in it! My body i'm sure was in shock. lol
So, I am going to wait on weighing in because if i push back to the 180s because of a bowl of rice I will just be sad.
Tomorrow is another day and i will not let this small misstep defeat me.

Broke through my goal and I am now in the 170's. I havent been here in four years!!!! I am soooooo happy and I now officially weigh less than my husband! lmbo. He is going to do nothing but smile when I tell him, since he's a man of few words.
Ok, so now to set a new goal....weigh less than my son! :)
Shooting for 165. Good things are coming...good things are coming. So happy.
