I finally figured out how to change my starting weight on here, but I somehow messed up when I was trying to change the starting date. So at least my actual amount of weight loss will be correct, but now it looks like I lost nearly 24 pounds in one day. Boy, I wish it came off that quick! But no such luck.
I went to a ladies ministry pot luck luncheon today. I came home and entered what I ate and did great with my carbs, which is actually what I'm counting, but then when I looked at the total calories for the day, WOW! That looked horrible. But so far for me it is working best to try and stay under 30 carbs per day. Once I have gotten a significant amount of weight off, I will then switch to Weight Watchers which I think is a much healthier lifestyle than this High Protein, Low Carb diet.

You know the old saying, dance like nobody's watching? Well, I'm doing just that and I'm doing great with my daily dancing for 30 min. I do prefer to do it while nobody can see me though. LOL.

I am also doing better than even I expected drinking my water. I have been drinking 8-12 glasses of water a day since Monday. But I will have to admit that I do get frustrated at times because on the days I don't work sometimes I get a little off track and eat something that I shouldn't. I mean I don't really pig out, but it will have carbs in it and I will always gain a pound or two and then I get right back on my diet and it takes me at least twice as long to lose the couple of pounds that I gained. UGH! My husband says I shouldn't weigh everyday, but I feel that it actually helps me stay on track if I do....even if I do get a little frustrated at times. Better frustrated than totally ignoring the problem and going over board. I've already been down that road too many times to count. Stepping on that scale everyday keeps me accountable to me.
