Lost 2 pounds! I have been avoiding the scale for a week now. I decided to try it and see what happens and I am 2 pounds down. May not seem like a lot for some people, but for me it's kind of a big deal. I have been so discouraged lately. I feel like that damn slim quick commercial. My husband is losing weight like crazy and I'm not. I know I haven't been doing as much as far as the gym goes, but I can't seem to stop injuring my self. I'm very accident prone. In 3 days, I managed to sprain my ankle, burn half the black off my hand, and fall down some steps. I think I may need to wrap myself in bubble wrap. After this little bit of weight loss, I feel renewed and I want to lose more. I have been taking my supplements but I haven't been able to go to the gym,so imagine what I can do with my supps AND going back to my regular gym schedule. Woo Hoo!

Hi, my name is Tyra and I am addicted to fried chicken. I have tried for years to kick the chick, but it just keeps clucking at me, begging me to bite it's wing and chew on a thigh or two. I tried to quit cold turkey, but cold chicken makes a better sandwich. I went to counseling and when the therapist asked me why I felt I had a problem, I told him because my husband is an enabler, and that KFC's right across the street in front of our gym so I have to see that damn bucket everyday!
Most people dream of being famous or rich, but the only thing that floats through my mind is rolling around in a bed of buttermilk biscuits. One day will beat you, you original recipe demon. One day I will be able to say no, no matter how many hot wings I can get for 50 cents on Thursdays. So don't try to tempt me Colonel with your mashed potatoes and gravy. I will not fall for it today. Damn, they got coupons in the junk mail today. Okay, maybe I will not be tempted tomorrow.

I'm on sprig break from school this week and have pledged to jump start my new weight loss program. I'm going to be working out with my husband Donhova. He has had some great results over the past few weeks and since I'm better from a back injury that sidelined me for a while, I'm all ready to start over. I am really looking forward to starting this new plan. I know I can do well if I just put mt mind to it.

I haven't been on here in a while. Almost a year. Have been trying different things, working out a little, taking fitness classes, being lazy. You name it,I've done it. I've been laid up for a week with a bad back, but I am here now and motivated to do better this time around. I have had the blahs for weeks now and can't figure out why, maybe I just need something to get involved in. And what's better than getting involved with my health? Motivation is greatly appreciated as I try this once again. Wish me luck.
