WOohoo! I went to the Y! I did a class and swam 6 laps. I could have swam more but I was getting a pounding headache. It was so bad I had to come home, take 2 tylenol and lie down for a while. Not sure where that came from but At least I got thru the Zumba class. The instructor didnt say what she was doing, just pointed which direction. I liked jazzercize coz they faced you and you just mirrored their image. But there are other instructors the so maybe I can find one I like. It's tough with my work schedule not being consistent to get into the same class on a regular basis. The swimming was good till the headache showed up. I know I'm slow and it'll take a while before I can build up the stamina to go faster. I can only breast stroke and backstroke. I have so much trouble coordinating the breath with the freestyle and wear myself out after one lap so ill stick with the others. If I can do this 3 times a week I'll be very happy. I'll even settle for 2! Off to work today. I'll wear my step cou ter so I hope I can get y 10k steps today.

Joined the Y today. Did 20 mins on the recumbant bike and then some minor strength training on the machines. Barely broke a sweat but it felt good doing some stretches. I have the schedule of classes so my plan is 3 days a week on my days off to hit a class, do some strength training and swim a few laps. Ideally all three each time would be ideal but I'd be happy with just two of them. I'm so out of shape and I feel it when I walk the stairs at work. No more.
