I am not sure why I didn't stick to my plans. Not sure why my weight is up sooo much. Obviously an accumulative result of dealing with a new diagnosis, changing meds, not eating mindfully and reacting to cold weather. Enough excuses. Today I am getting back on track.

Sometimes I am not sure why I join challenges because LIFE always gets in the way. I've had symptoms, gone to Dr.'s and had procedures all since joining challenges. My latest exercise challenge can't be worked on because it might start me bleeding. No exercise allowed for 10 days.
The fact is I try my best ALL the time.
The fact is I get off track easily.
The fact is that FAT SECRET helps me stay on track by keeping my goal in the front of my mind and doesn't let me FORGET to do the best behaviors.
My weight is up a little today and I know why....but I don't like it, the scale is not the best measure for me.
I hope you all are doing well and sorry if my post today was a downer.

Went to the Doctors early this morning. Re-Check up on some chest pains I had last week
AHA my weight was down 2 lbs. All better now but I am back on meds for reflux. I now have referrals for a podiatrist, dermatologist and orthopedist. Getting old is not fun.
Have to get these issues under control so that I can exercise. Lately I do nothing but housework and desk work and I don't even see much progress there.
After a week in the house I was thrilled to go out to lunch at bd Mongolian Grill with a friend. Seems like it is possible to eat healthfully there by skipping the rice and drinking water. It tasted real good.
Working on my challenges is motivating!!!
Keep up the good work Y'all and if you haven't been doing real good lately (like Me) dust off your britches and try again.

yesterday went well in spite of life. Snowed in, daughter-in-law shoveling for hours, furnace quit because vent was snow smothered, son came over to diagnose and fix the problem. In bed early, got 10 hrs. sleep.
I fell a little short on my water consumption but did good with my eating.
Today is another snow bound day which I begin with a heart of gratitude toward my family.

Record amount of snow. The city is at a standstill. Have just arranged for someone to come over and shovel. Wish I could do it myself but it would mean going against medical advice. 2 challenges started today. so far I can say I am getting started. Drinking 3 liters of water, eating no junk food and not eating anything after dinner are parts of my challenges. Next week I add another challenge to do some at home exercises. So far I am right on and enjoying adding this structure.

I am nearly 100 lbs down from my highest weight in 12/2009. I feel much better than I did, just want to get below aeveryones definition of obese.
