Completely fell off the wagon this past weekend, and yesterday went full monty with the junk food! Today I am back on the wagon and eating well. I still have yet to get up stairs to my treadmill, weight bench and weights ... planning on that tonight, and I did walk to the natural food market at lunch.
My biggest challenge this week is when I go to Portland, OR from Thursday through Sunday. My friend Amy is getting married, and I'll get to spend the rest of the time with my brother. Between cake and champagne at the wedding, and my brother's and my fondness for good beer, it's going to be challenging to stay on track. Fortunately, since I'm staying at my brother's, I can just hit a grocery store and cook for us both.

And again I didn't get up to work out this morning, nor did I go home and work out as I had planned. Rick invited his daughter over for dinner, and we were up late drinking too much wine with her ... so the extra sleep was needed. I did walk from the office to the store and had Rick pick me up there, so I got about 10 minutes of brisk walking in ...
Other than drinking too much wine, I ate pretty darn well yesterday. Going to do that again today.

Didn't get up this morning to work out. Got in an argument with my ex-husband last night about our 16 year old son, and didn't get to sleep until close to 1am. Going to at least hop on my treadmill tonight when I get home, and set a goal to get up tomorrow morning to work out.
I have got to get back into my old habits! To think I spent the majority of the last 10 years being totally ripped, even considering competition at one point, with random people at the gym walking up to me asking for work out and diet advice. I don't want to be that size 4 again - that was really, really hard work and an extremely strict diet. It was not enjoyable, my whole life revolved around planning meals and working out (twice a day at one point), and there is only so much dry chicken breast and tuna a person can eat. But I'll be happy to be back to an 8. I drink too much for a 6, teehee!

I've gained 30 pounds in the last 4 years, and have been battling with trying to get back into my old habits: working out and eating mostly home cooked meals.
My goal is to get back into my size 8s! I want to accomplish this by cutting out the white foods, ie sugar, corn syrup, white flour, which means getting rid of the junk food! And getting back into my 4-5 days per week of cardio/weight training.
I'm giving up the bad foods right now, and starting my exercise program tomorrow, April 14th, on the new moon.
