I have a history of being a yo-yo dieter, one diet I went on when I was 16 was the peanut butter fudge diet, yuck! Yes that is all I ate for a week. My best friend and I would compulsively eat on the weekends. We would pig out on pizza, or donuts or cake and then we would be sick. One thing we didn't do was purge..which is surprising considering all of the people who do end up with bulimia. Well the crazy behavior continued throughout my 20's, 30's and 40's. A quick summary of all of these diets goes like this....Adkins, quick weight loss, phen-phen, amino acid diet..(and a few other crack pot diets in between) all of these diets have helped me lose the weight but after time it justs comes back. I am hoping with this FF plan I have some new tools to help me navigate the food chain for the rest of my life. I had an emergency gall-bladder surgery two years ago and yes that has thrown some unique problems into the mix.
I teach K-6 students in the computer lab. I have been a teacher for 26 years, the reason I am still in the classroom is that I enjoy children, learning, and investigating new things.
