I realized my clothing started to get too tight and discovered I was 130 lbs which isn't bad. However, I”m short (5 feet) which is a bit heavy for me. I decided to do something about it and searched for a calorie count app on my phone. Then found it was linked to this wonderful website! This made counting calories very painless!
I also needed to exercise. After some research I discovered jump roping would be a quick way to burn off calories. However it was hard on my knees! A coworker told me about Barry's Bootcamp which is a great way to start out as a beginner. I then discovered P90X. My diet is also a big issue. I never realized how important it is to get a good amount of protein & eat fruit and veggies. Another coworker gave me a book “Burn the fat, Feed the muscle” which goes into great detail on what your body needs. Now I drink a lot of water, less soda and try to stay away from fast food!
About every other week I saw results, so I learned to not expect to loose weight right away.
I’m a Zuzka Light subscriber but I neglect working out. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes when pregnant and I like using this site to make sure my carb intake isn’t crazy. I’m very excited for the new meal planning features!
