Male, married 43 years next August, 2 kids boy and girl, 4 grandkids 9,6,3 1/2 & 3. Been overweight most of my life but lately seems to be getting out of control. Had surgery about 15 years ago loss 175 lbs, kept most of it off for 7 years then started gaining 25 to 30 lbs a year and couldn't seem to get it under control. WW and all the other starvation diets just don't work for me. Lose 20 lbs and gain 25.Gave up for a while then finally realized putting your head in the sand is not the answer. So started Atkins about 6 weeks ago and I've lost 30 lbs so farr. Weight loss has slowed as 2 to 3 lbs a week is the going rate for the last 2 or 3 weeks. I'm tried of when we go out to eat my friends look at me and ask "can you sit at a booth"?? there are no tables!!
