I'm in my late 40's, happily married. I am an emotional eater - and also have developed bad eating habits. So changing that at the core will be the biggest challenge. I need to find healthier ways to deal with stress. I also want my physical health to improve and get back to hiking, biking, camping and all of the things that I love to do.

It's amazing how weight can cause back, foot, knee pains and worsen "female" issues. It's just uncomfortable all around!

I got a fitbit HR. I use their app to enter my calories, but enjoy FS for the community here. I tried out spark and my fitness pal, but really like FS the most, so I am back -- starting again. I always thought I could do it alone, but I am failing alone. I admit it. I need support. I need encouragement and I need to create an environment around me (online and in my life) that welcomes and encourages support.
