I'm 36 years old and determined to finally take the weight off for good!
I've been overweight since high school where I weighed 150 pounds. Within the next 5 years, I added 40 more pounds.

Over the next 10 years worked in a very high stress Customer Service job where I began to make extremely poor choices. Essentially I put myself last. By the end of that 10 years, I had hit my all time high weight of 280 pounds.

Several times I tried to lose weight by eating healthy but I didn't really understand what eating healthy meant and I crashed and burned. Nutrition labels aren't helpful if you don't know your limits.

I love the taste of food and would often eat a tasty meal not because I was hungry but sheerly for the joy of it. Of course, afterward I would feel miserable, mentally castigating myself for what I had done.

Now, I've found Weight Watchers...after one week I'm VERY optimistic. I've never eaten so much food on a diet before let alone so much TASTY food. I love how Weight Watchers helps me to take the information from those Nutrition labels and translate them into something relative for me. I absolutely adore that I don't have to eliminate any foods. I can eat anything I want, but if I want to make a poor choice, I now know how to compensate for those choices in my day. No more failing because of cravings. Weight Watchers makes me feel empowered about weight loss for the first time EVER!

I've decided to set several micro goals for myself to break up the 130.5 pounds total that I want to loose.
240 lbs - The lowest weight I've been since my all time high.
200 lbs - The weight line I never thought I'd cross, but did.
180 lbs - My average adult weight before I gained.
150 lbs - My High School weight
140 lbs - Me being thin! From here we re-evaluate.
