NowIunderstand's Journal, 29 Apr 18

For the last month of so, I've cut substantially cut down on my consumption of red meat and animal protein.

I do it for ethical reasons, but honestly, i've been hungry in between every meal and unsatiated. It's not a life to go through.

I don't know how vegetarians do it.

I have no clue how to eat healthy, and for weight loss, and satiety. I've run the gammut of many types of woe plans, and nothing reaches these (3) goals.

I no longer know what to do and how to go about it!

Perhaps up your veggie based protein as well as good fats like MCT/coconut oil, avocado and the like. The combination might help you feel satiated much longer. Keep reading, learning, and trying different concepts. You will find the combination that works for you.

I find that protein bars and/or shakes help cut my cravings right down.. I am having digestive problems with meat right now so I know what you are talking about. Right now I am into Cliff builder protein bars when I am hungry. Someone on this website mentioned Quest bars which I haven't tried yet.... After being on a zillion diets I am feeling the best on the one I am inventing. I know not to eat sugary and white flour stuff and setting a caloric limit... but the rest is feeling my way. I get more volume with veggies and less gas with less cheeses etc. Trial and error and eating the things I like for a change.

I have been a vegetarian for almost 20 years. Over the years, I have learned that MorningStar soy dogs, veggie burgers, and Luna protein bars keep me full. I always keep almonds and peanuts in the house. I also like to eat yogurt and things like rice puddings. Also, Mexican food like a veggie burrito will keep me very full.

I was vegetarian for 3 Years. I took a “more” approach when it came to food. And the “more” was always healthier than what I was eating before. For an example I would eat dinner and drink my normal gal water per day but if I happened to still be hungry in between I would eat bananas and almonds. Honestly I would eat 3-4 bananas a day almost. My doctor see absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Reach out to a doxtor or check online for some more answers to your questions. However when I was vegetarian I found it very easy to fall into the consuming carbs to fill full everyday. For weight loss purposes I’d keep that to a minimum. Just from experience

dietdoctor.com burnfatnotsugar.com lowcarbediem.com Go PALEO or modified KETO or ATKINS. Visit the websites above. You may want to rethink your entire approach. Feel free to scan thru my posted photos. I eat beautifully, practice intermittent fasting until dinner most days and enjoy a piece or two of Dove dark chocolate each day. No suffering. I embrace my hunger and enjoy dinner SO much more now.
