My friend and I visualize 10 pound increments of weight loss as bowling balls. We marvel at her 100 lbs lost so far, and say “can you imagine putting 10 bowling balls in bags, strapping them to your body, and trying to function all day long?” If you ever feel discouraged like your progress isn’t significant, just imagine what it would feel like to pick up your lost weight as an external object and carry it all day. You’ll realize how awesome the loss really is.
