I have a food question....I was told that if I were to have turkey, you know the lunch meat, that I could have 8 oz, which equals to 8 slices. But when I buy it, the whole package is 9 oz. So I guess I'm a little confused. Do I weigh it to get my 8 oz or do I just eat the 8 slices? When I measure it out, 8 slices is no where near the 8 oz.

I'm gonna throw in a guess --- that the 9 oz pkg is including the packaging??? Are there more than 8 slices in the pkg? Do you have a deli you could go and ask to weigh out the 8 oz? Not sure how often you want it, but could ask them to do it into 4 different packages, make it EASY for yourself....

There are actually 30 slices in this one package. Its by Oscar Mayer, and its 9 oz for just the turkey, without the packaging. Its thinly sliced like they require. So I just dont know how much to eat.

I bought a measuring scale for food and stuff - it looked like I'm going to need it a lot. So, it's either you ask the workers at the deli to weight-measure it for you... or you buy a measuring scale.

Ok, I got my answer from a counselor. I can only have 8 slices not 8 oz. My info was given to me incorrectly. Sorry about that. But now I know.
