The 5K was awesome! I wasn't so excited about it before starting it because me and my boyfriend got in our first argument just about 15 minutes before I registered. But once I started it was great and I was so glad I did it. Everyone there was so supportive, motivating, and encouraging. Everyone had the best positive attitude; I really loved it. Can't wait for my next one next month. I actually finished 5th in my age group and going across that finish line was SUCH an adrenaline rush. It made me feel so good about myself.

I've been so busy lately I hardly have any time for fatsecret anymore...better yet hardly have time for showers and sleep!

My dog is in the vet possibly dying. I am SO WORRIED about her. She is a tiny little yorkie and I've had her for 7 years and she is the love of my life! I still work out everyday, but I've been eating nothing but JUNK food. I really want to eat healthier but it takes TIME and money to get healthy food. Junk food is so quick and convenient--and CHEAP.

I'm going to a Braves game with my boyfriend on Saturday. I'm excited about that, never been to a real sporting even that wasn't a high school team. Oh except for one Detroit Redwings NHL game a few years ago. I don't really understand sports or like them, but I'm still excited.

Sorry so short, I'll make another journal soon. Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Sorry about your doggie. :-( I know that is really hard! Thinking of you! But, CONGRATS on the race...that is awesome!

Hope your little pooch recovers! That's SO rough to lose a pet. I've experienced that too many times, and it doesn't get easier. Sounds like the argument with BF may have helped you in your race! I certainly would have used it as a pacesetter! Glad you had such a good experience-they ARE fun!

:( hope your dog is ok. It's always hard to loose a pet, they become little members of our family. Congrats on the 5K!!

Sorry to hear about your dog. That can't be easy. Way to finish your 5k strong. That is awesome that you are already ready for the next one. On another note...enjoy the Braves game. I enjoy sports so I may be biased but I have fun at the games. I go all the time.

Thanks everyone. My dog is better, she got to come home from the vet last night and she seems like shes feeling better. I have to give her medicine twice a day and she is eating a special kind of food now. And Jess-you'll never catch me out in public without wearing a cute outfit--even when I'm working up a sweat ;) and no i wasn't nervous about the race at all

Awesome that you so enjoyed the 5K and are looking forward to the next one! I can only hope to get to that stage (unfortunately, not a big exercise fan!) And glad to hear your dog is better.
