Went to my FIL's 70th b-day party yesterday and made smart choices on the catered food. Stuck with chicken breast,roast beef slices, fruit, green beans, and a broccoli/cauliflower dish which probably had the most calories as it had a wonderful oniony sauce over it, but just had 1/4 c. of it. Had a small slice of cake. It's a lifestyle change and cake happens in life, I didn't have to have it but knew I was going to go walking later so I allowed myself the treat, and walked around the neighborhood to the park, walked twice around park instead of once and then home. Didn't have the rice, potatoes, rolls... very happy.
Now tonight all 3 boys are spending the night with their cousins, that hasn't happened in 5-6 years (all 3 gone for the night) so hubby and I might go to Applebee's and again I WILL make smart choices! It's not even hard to do really and I don't feel like I'm missing out, just missing out on the stupid extra calories I would regret later... Date night here we comeā™„

Doing a happy dance in my mind with you!!! Way to go - look at you dropping those 2 pounders LOL. You are working hard and you are rewarded! Simple as that. Proud of you friend!

Your doing so good!! I am so jealous...date night...what's that..lol I Wish! But really good job it just becomes so natural to pick what works, your a pro already!

Christy, did you see, we are on the same team at the weight challenge - we are "the Leans" or Red team lol, the others are the Blue team or "the skinnies". Lets kick some skinnie butt haha.
