I have felt down for most of this week and I don't know if it was just the weather turning cold and rainy again or just stuff going on at home. I had my oldest son Phil on my mind, who is going to graduate this May from the University of Missouri. I am worried if he'll find a job fairly soon as he has student loans. I am also sad that I know so little about his life. He has been gone on his own for 2 years and communications were initiated mostly on our part. I know that it's supposed to be like that, him finding his place in this world.
I am so very proud of him and the man he has become, but my mother heart sometimes misses the boy he used to be......
Enough of that lol, anyways so I went to walk in that little park I go to at lunch. It was sunny and breezy today and I was there all by myself. The redbud trees were getting their buds and their branches were touching at the top creating a sort of canopy. In a couple of weeks they will be in full bloom and I can walk underneath that canopy of shades of pink and purple.
I will envision that I am a bride who is going to her beloved and as I am walking my silhouette is changing and I grow tall and slender and my gait is becoming proud and straight.....
LOL anyone who is familiar with visualization techniques will probably understand what I was saying, and those who don't might think I'm just suffering from illusions brought on by a bad pastrami sandwich LOL.

lol You are silly! Reading your "pastrami" illusion lol I actually read it as being the bride of Christ. :) The silhouette changing is Him working in you! I loved the illusion.

Thank you - yes I am a little "nutty" and I enjoy being silly because there was a time, before I started on this journey, that I had lost most of my joy. And you are so correct when you say HE is working in me and I am changed and people see such a difference in me. There is nothing I would ever trade, no amount of money, prestige nor wisdom, for the peace I have in the LORD!
