I hear you! I've been seeing a dr. for the last couple of years for joint pain that just came on suddenly with no explaination. They have no idea what's going on. First they told me my x-rays showed arthritis, but the doc said he disagreed, so it's always back to square one. Now, I go to the doc every 6 months or so for check-ups and get my prescriptions for the pain and otherwise just deal with it. I know I don't have anything life threatening, so I'm going to keep up my healthy eating and exercise because ultimately that will help me. I went through a rough patch where I just said the heck with it, I'm going to eat and not exercise because it hurts, but after gaining about 10 lbs. I realized that was not the answer and moping wasn't healthy. You will get through this and hopefully they'll figure out what's going on. If they don't figure it out, you have to pick yourself up and keep going. You can do this!! 

Swelling is down but still have this lump in the arch of my foot...I convinced my doctor to send me to a podiatrist..after much research on the internet I think I know what is going on ...basically a build up of scar tissue from an injury...and there is a topical gel available that should prevent further scarring and while it doesn't get rid of the scarring that's there it will soften it...I feel like I have a rock in my foot of about an inch in diameter. This is really frustrating my exercise efforts! 

I hope the issue is solved soon. You are obviously suffering. Take good care of yourself!
