Cherry314's Journal, 18 May 12

I've been watching shows about dieting and the food we eat. I had the old "light blub" go off while watching One Nation Overweight. The doctor on the show was talking about how people gain weight and mentioned that all we need to eat daily is around 2000 calories. It didn't matter whether we are 300 lbs or 120 lbs it was the same. The delima that many overweight people have is that they keep eating extra calories. I guess this is the kinda thing I had stuck in my head. If you are overweigh you need extra calories to maintain the fat you have. You don't. We don't need to support the fat you have. It is an extra thing on your body. It is there as fuel. The only time you can maintain your weight by eating more is if you have gotten to your goal weight and exercise you can eat the amount of calories consumed by doing the exercise and not send the calories to storage--fat. Therefore every time you over eat it goes to fat. The more you overeat the more fat. We get used to the large portions and this overeating cycle is obeasity. Just saying :)
