Did you ever notice that when you are on a diet coworkers can be so unsupportive? Why is it that the only time the skinny wench next to you offers up one of her goodies, it's 5 minutes after you tell her you just started a diet. "Ohh I forgot, sorry." Some people's kids! My determination to be a healthy individual far outwieghs her offer. I keep myself full on lean protien and veggies. It's really working. I want to weigh in in the worst way, but I want to do it only once a week, so that I don't make it a numbers game. I always lose that the numbers games. I need it to be about health this time, life and health.

It's not only coworkers - it's often family, friends and other relatives, etc. especially if they're overweight - they're the first to tell you to start eating differently... I could go on endlessly... Just ignore it... I've found I have to - my Dad said I lost enough weight as he's probably fifty pounds heavier than me and my height, but I need to lose more weight to get to a more healthy state in my life, where I was when I was younger - ignore the critics - you go and listen to everyone here cheering you on!!! :)

It's hard not to get resentful. However, even if she is skinny, she'll probably get numerous health problems later from eating junk food. Rest asured that your efforts will be met with better health and quality of life later on.
