Alright. So I'll be the first one to admit that I haven't been tracking as closely as I have been in the past. But I have been working out like a maniac! 10 mile hike on Saturday and the week before that I worked out almost every day. I am lifting heavy, doing lots of cardio, riding my bike to and from work once a week, doing a lot of walking around the city now that the sun is out... I know for sure I am burning way more calories than I am eating, even if I'm not tracking super closely. Today when I got on the scale (which is one of those that 'measures' body fat by using electric pulses through your feet) it said I was at 30% body fat. That, my friends, is IMPOSSIBLE because I wasn't even up to 30% when I started losing weight and I know for sure I am putting on lean muscle with my workouts.

I think it might be time to go see a nutritionist and get my actual body fat measured and see where I'm at.

My food scale broke so it's probably time to get a new one and start measuring things more accurately again. It's really discouraging, however, to see that even though I'm exercising a ton more than I did when I was having regular losses, the scale is going up up up. :(

Sounds like Great workouts that are lots of fun! As for the scale, I think you nailed it...time to see a nutritionist. If you don't get a chance to meet with one you may want to go back to tracking what you eat again. It sucks but it will always tell us the truth about where we are in our plan. Good luck.

Yep, the only way to know for sure how much you're eating is to do a little more rigid tracking!! :) With all those workouts, you might be eating more without really realizing it.. But on the other hand, you're probably right that you're burning much more than you're taking in.. maybe you're actually not eating enough?? I agree with M, a trip to the nutritionist sounds like a plan.. Keep on working out, girly!!
